Jack Thompson

At work...
Jack joined BlueSKY in 2016, having spent the previous year working for a London-based financial services firm.
He has worn many hats within BlueSKY; having initially joined the administration team, within two years he moved to the paraplanning team and is now an adviser.
Jack holds the Diploma in Financial Planning and is currently making good progress towards becoming a Chartered Financial Planner.
He specialises in working with divorcees and clients who are approaching retirement.

On the weekends, you might find Jack taking part in a local Parkrun or cycling to a coffee shop with friends.
Jack also likes going on city breaks, finding a new TV series to watch and going on long walks that end with a stop at a country pub.

The important stuff
All regulated financial advisers must be authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and therefore appear on their register. You can find Jack’s entry here.
Furthermore, all advisers must have an up-to-date Statement of Professional Standing (SPS). This shows they are suitably qualified and have carried out the required amount of Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
