Meet Neil – the newest member of the BlueSKY team

When we ask our clients for their feedback, one of the common responses we get is that they appreciate the high level of service and expertise that they receive.

We’re always looking at ways to enhance our service levels, and one of the ways we do this is by investing in a superb team. We’ve recently welcomed a new addition to the BlueSKY team – so read on to meet Neil.

Meet Neil – the BlueSKY directors’ new personal assistant

Neil has recently joined the BlueSKY team as the personal assistant to the BlueSKY directors, with the aim of ensuring we continue to offer the same excellent service our clients have received in the past.

He will organise the diaries and communication of the directors, ensure our office runs smoothly, and support other company projects as they come up.

Coming from a 30-year career in international sales, Neil has visited more than 50 countries across Europe, Africa, and Asia. Someone once threw a shoe at him during a particularly intense negotiation, so he thinks he can cope with his new BlueSKY colleagues!

Working in the fast-paced sales industry for such a long time has given Neil a good idea of what to expect in the new world of wealth management.

As an existing client of BlueSKY, Neil already knew the high standards we set for ourselves and the service we offer our clients. Being part of the office team will now enable BlueSKY to have a better insight as to what our clients expect (and deserve) from us.

A Scout leader and rugby fan

When not working hard at BlueSKY, Neil is particularly active in the Burghfield scout group and has recently set up a new Explorer unit (for young people aged between 14 and 18) with one of the other BlueSKY directors.

As a valley boy born and bred, he loves rugby (but he can’t sing a note, before you ask). Neil was a member of the Welsh bridge team while at university and still played basketball into his 50s (at least until Covid-19 happened).

We’re thrilled to welcome Neil to BlueSKY and know he will make a valuable contribution to our directors and the company in general. Next time you call in it could well be Neil that you meet!
