Lesley:
Hi, I’m Lesley, and this is my husband, John. We’ve been working with Mark at BlueSKY for about 20 years.

John:
Mark helped us, particular me, in the early stages. I was in partnership with a colleague, and Mark helped us to set up our own pension investments independently, with the maximum contribution that we could take out of the partnership to get the tax benefits that were available about 20 years ago.
These also included the consolidation of some previous pensions that both of us had from other employment. It was a complete review and pulled together the investments that we foresaw that we needed at that stage.
The latest thing that Mark’s helped us with since our retirement, six or so years ago, has been reviewing our finances and helping to convince us that we had enough money to maintain our lifestyle, even considering unforeseen circumstances.

Lesley:
It’s very important for me to see things visually, rather than written in a report. The software Mark uses does exactly that. I can see very clearly where our finances come from and the projection that he has made. This makes me feel far more secure in the spending that I make.

John:
Over the 20 years that Mark has advised us, we’ve gained more and more confidence in his approach, and he clearly understands what it is that we want out of our investment.

Lesley:
Mark is a very good listener. He will listen to what I have to say, will answer all the stupid questions that I have to give him, and then he will answer clearly in a format that I can fully understand. I have every confidence that he will look after me, right the way through until I’m gaga.

John:
The words that I would use to describe BlueSKY are competent, good listeners and reactive.

Lesley:
I have recommended Mark to quite a few people, because overall he provides everything that I need, safely and honestly. I’m sure he would do the same for everybody else.

John:
The best thing about working with Mark and BlueSKY is that we have a personal representative in Mark, who understands exactly what we want and need, and is supported by the infrastructure that BlueSKY provides as an organisation.
